A new garden design in Wassenaar

ZL was asked to remodel this backgarden in order to improve the access from the second floor and incorporate a storage shed for bicycles and garden tools under the enlarged balcony.

This involved, among other things: creating a seventies look metal staircase and railing to suit the style of the house, a new wooden decking in the oposite end of the garden for a lounge area to suck up most of the evening sun and a new wooden planking towards the neighbours in order to provide a bit of privacy. Slate like concrete square slabs for easy maintenance and garden lights for evening atmosphere.
