To make the most of the view
This client wanted to make a more usable extension and terrass on their vacation house on the island of Ven between Sweden and Denmark. As the feel of the house and the location had a bit of Isle of Wight to it, ZL designed the extension with a victorian conservatory in mind. There is hardly any protection against sun and wind on this side of the island so part of the raised and extended terrace needed a fixed sun protection.
