LED light has had a big impact on how we look at light and really opened up the creative process. It has made it possible to do things that prior to its existence wasn’t.

The first LED lights were developed in the 60th and were mainly used in remote controls to send infrared signals and as indicator lamps for electronic devices. Lately the development of LED light has accelerated. Today they are still somewhat more expensive and require more precise current and heat management than incandescent light sources. Their many advantages such as lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, smaller and stronger and a faster switching give them however the edge. The unattractive cold light is a thing of the past and the price is dropping steadily.

THE FUTURE OF LED LIGHT IS REALLY LOOKING BRIGHT.

BESIDES THE TREND OF MASSING LIGHT SOURCES AND LAMPS THERE IS A TREND TO USE OVERSIZED LAMPS AND LIGHT INSTALLATIONS AND DESIGN THE ROOM TO SUPPORT IT.

THE LED LIGHTS HAS ALSO IMPROVED THE POSSIBILITIES TO ADD DIMENSIONS TO THE INTERIORS. CONTRASTING DIFFERENT ROOM ELEMENTS, HIGHLIGHTING CERTAIN AREAS OR ELEMENTS, USING DISTINCT LIGHT TO BECOME ELEMENTS OF ITSELF. HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES:
